3 Ingredient Snacks for Kids: Peanut Butter Date Balls

I came to visit my grandkids one day and they were making these delicious cereal and peanut butter treats!  These 3 ingredient snacks are so simple and healthy! Made with whole dates, unsweetened peanut butter, and our Sprouted Brown Rice Crisps, they’re the perfect balance of crunchy, nutty, and sweet. Don’t be fooled by their simplicity—these snacks disappear quickly because they’re so tasty. You might just want to double the recipe!

Other than a little help setting up and handling the food processor, even toddlers can make these Peanut Butter Date Balls with minimal supervision. Give them a sturdy wooden spoon and set them to mixing. (A large, stable bowl helps keep the cereal from spilling over the edge with enthusiastic stirring!).

Yield: Makes approximately 10 bite-sized balls

Ingredients

3/4 cup One Degree Organics Sprouted Brown Rice Crisps
4 Medjool Dates (pitted)
1/2 cup organic peanut butter

Directions

Blend peanut butter and dates in food processor.

Transfer peanut butter and date mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add in the rice crisps, and stir to combine

Roll cereal mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a cookie sheet. Chill until Peanut Butter Date Balls are set.
