3 Ingredient Snacks for Kids: Banana Oat Bites

What’s better than a wholesome oatmeal cookie? These 3 ingredient snacks! Made with ripe banana, sprouted gluten-free quick oats, and a splash of fresh squeezed orange juice, these are nutritious bites are a perfectly portable healthy breakfast bite for toddlers on-the-go. But our Banana Oat Bites are more than just a nice way for kids to eat cereal! They’re a deliciously simple anytime snack the whole family will love.

Eat them as they are, or dip them in a fruit sauce! Even your smallest kitchen helper will feel accomplished when they help make these. Let them peel, mash, measure, mix, and scoop all by themselves! The only help they’ll need is getting their snacks in and out of the oven safely before their busy hands can enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Yield: Makes approximately 10-12 little bites

Ingredients

1 cup One Degree Organics Sprouted Quick Oats
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium sized mixing bowl, mash ripe banana.

Add quick oats and orange juice to the bowl, and mix the ingredients together to form a cookie-like batter.

Using a small cookie scoop or two spoons, transfer bite-sized scoops of Banana Oat Bite batter to a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 – 15 minutes, until bites are golden brown and set.
