Sprouted Grain Crackers

It is soup kind of weather and these simple crackers are a perfect compliment to any soup creation, with dips or as a snack all on their own. Either our Sprouted Spelt Flour or Sprouted Whole Wheat Flour provides an excellent base for these crackers.


2 1/4 cup One Degree Organics Sprouted Spelt or Sprouted Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup One Degree Organics Flax Seeds (optional)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup water


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two cookie sheets.

In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well to combine.

Form dough into two equal balls and place one on each prepared cookie sheet. Using a small rolling pin, roll dough to desired thickness. Cut into squares or preferred design.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Baking time varies depending on thickness of crackers.



    • Hi Vanessa, stored in an air-tight container they can be kept fresh for quite some time but it is best to freeze them so as to not risk them going rancid.

  1. I have these crackers in the oven as I type. Im hoping I like them I did not have the flax seeds or I would have used them. I did have flax meal but was not sure it would work. I will post back to let you know how they come out. Thanks Deborah

  2. I Deborah I made these they are good but feel like they need more flavor probably better with the flax seeds which I did not have and how do I get them crispy I will eat these and Tweek them next time thx
