Oat Tofu Scramble

If you haven’t noticed, we LOVE oats. We have them almost every day for breakfast and often use them for baking. Speaking of breakfast, here is a recipe that will take the humble oatmeal to the next level! This Oat Tofu Scramble recipe is an incredibly easy to make recipe that is tasty, high in protein and can be made even more nutritious by adding different vegetables.


2 cups cooked or left over oatmeal made with One Degree Organics Sprouted Rolled Oats 
1 block medium firm tofu
1 yeast flakes
1 T soy sauce
1 tsp vegan chicken seasoning
1 tsp garlic
1/4 tips turmeric
1/2 tsp onion
1/2 tsp salt
Optional: spinach, tomato, mushrooms


Gently crumble the oats and tofu into medium size pieces

Toss with the remaining ingredients and fry in your favourite frying pan

Add oil as needed for frying and any of the optional ingredients you prefer
