Our homemade oat flour blend gives them a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the colorful icing makes them as fun as they are delicious.

Easy to make, fun to decorate, and impossible to resist, these donuts prove you don’t need to compromise flavor for cleaner ingredients.

The secret ingredient to their deliciously soft texture is a cup of our Sprouted Rolled Oats, which is gluten-free, glyphosate-free, and sprouted for better flavor, nutrition, and inspiration to use in any kind of recipe. Ingredients

1 cup of One Degree Organic Foods Sprouted Rolled Oats (Blend into oat flour)
1 Tbsp Tapioca Flour
1.5 tsp Arrowroot Powder
1 Banana
½ cup of Almond Milk
3 Tbsp Nut Butter
¼ cup Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
½ teaspoon Cinnamon

For the Icing
1 cup of Cane Sugar
1-3 Tbsp Oat Milk
1-2 drops of Natural Food Colouring

Directions

First, preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease your donut pan and set it aside.

In a large mixing bowl, mash your banana until smooth. Stir in the milk, nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

In the same bowl, sift in oat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, tapioca flour, arrowroot powder, and cinnamon, and mix everything together. Evenly pour the mixture into the pre-greased donut pan. Bake for 15- 20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool slightly and then remove from the pan to a wire rack to cool.

While the donuts are cooling, you can make your icing dip.

In a medium bowl, add cane sugar, which has been blended into a fine powder. Mix in oat milk and a few drops of food coloring (the more you add, the brighter the color). Once the donuts have cooled down completely, you can dip one side into the icing mixture and let it dry on a wire rack (Option to top with sprinkles too).

Once the icing has hardened, these sweet treats are ready to serve.

Enjoy!
